I remember the first time I heard Pachuca Sunrise I was a teenager, my oldest brother played this song for me and I swear my brain exploded. I was an instant fan and couldn't get enough.
Fast forward to their omni tour in austin @ La Zona Rosa I had a car & a dream to see them live. Unfortunately my parents weren't about to let their teenager drive 2 hours to Austin alone.
But I did it anyway. I lied my ass off & took off to Austin. I had painted a fairly poorly done portrait of Jake & planned to wave it in the air. This was my first concert & I was was gonna do it right as a fan. As they came on stage, I waved the painting around & enjoyed their first 3 songs until my phone started going off. My parents were pissed & sadly I had to leave early and get yelled at. Luckily I've gotten to make up for that last time and have seen them play countless times.
