This is a shirt design I was commissioned to create for The gallery ATX, a women powered fine art gallery.
They wanted “Art in ATX” with Texas themed elements and 3 cowpeople. The asked to include an armadillo, cactus, and the characters. With this in mind I wanted to have some psychedelic elements to match Austin’s “Keep Austin Weird” vibe. I also spent a lot of time looking at old western outfits and mixed and matched my favorites. This was the outcome for that design.
